Healthcare research, structured and visualised
I work independently, at the point where a messy landscape of published trial and reimbursement data needs to be turned into something legible. I take a question, track down the information scattered across sources, structure it, and work out what it's actually saying — before any of it can be meaningfully visualised or communicated.
My focus is HTA, reimbursement and the evidence around new medicines. The work is judging what the real story is in that mess, and what to foreground. That means research across multiple sources, structuring it so it's comparable, and only then analysis and visualisation. This isn't about generating new analysis — it's about taking evidence that already exists, often scattered across sources, and making it usable.With a background in Health Technology Assessment, healthcare consulting and Market Access, I bring domain knowledge to that process. I use Tableau and other tools where they add value, but the starting point is always the question, the evidence, and the story it needs to tell.
I have nearly ten years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, predominantly working with newly authorised medicines. I now work independently, on healthcare research and information structuring, particularly around HTA, reimbursement and new medicines.
My work spans evidence assessment, reimbursement and Market Access, with a particular focus on understanding how new therapies fit into healthcare systems. Oncology has been a major area of focus, alongside work across a broader range of therapeutic areas.
Working with different stakeholders and audiences also gave me insight into how information is interpreted and communicated within highly regulated environments. Over time, I became increasingly drawn to projects where information needs to be researched across multiple sources, structured and analysed before it can be meaningfully visualised or communicated. I particularly value careful analytical work and creating clear visual representations of clinical and economic data.
